I sent four of my call centre staff on the communication course because I wanted to expand their role within the company. I attended the “Effective Presentation” course in Manchester as preparation for my workplaces annual conference. It was my first time presenting to so many people (over 100) and naturally I was terrified! I’d given presentations to smaller groups (under 10) and had always been struck with anxiety before speaking. I am confident in almost all areas of life but public speaking is an area I have always felt very nervous about. The course not only helped me to deliver the presentation with clarity and coherence (something my previous presentations had been severely lacking) but taught me to feel confident and in control whilst delivering. The trainer was extremely helpful and could tell that I wasn’t particularly confident in speaking in front of the group at first. He worked with me throughout the day and by the end I felt much more in control and natural. The trainer also gave me some specific advice with regards to presenting in front of larger crowds. The day came round and I would be lying if I said there weren’t nerves but I took to the stage. Remembering everything the trainer had taught me the presentation began and I…… actually enjoyed it! I got a huge round of applause at the end and I lost count of how many people congratulated me for it. I really can’t recommend this course enough. Brilliant!

I attended the time management 2 day course at Infero Training as I have just taken over a different department at work. This is stressful at the best of times but I was struggling to stay on top of things.
